Information We Collect

We do not ask you to register, and the site has no login, comment, or account system. The values you enter into any calculator are processed entirely in your browser. If you choose a share-link feature, its URL may include calculation settings; anyone you share that link with can read those settings. Exported files contain the results you choose to export. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. Hosting providers process ordinary request data, such as IP addresses and requested URLs, to deliver and protect the website.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the site is used — for example, which calculators are visited, which tools run calculations, and which export features are used. This service collects standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and anonymous usage identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies. We use this data only in aggregate, to decide which calculators to improve and add.

Advertising & Google AdSense

We are applying to Google AdSense to support this free site. Advertising scripts and ad requests are currently disabled. The site contains a publisher verification meta tag and an ads.txt file; these do not set advertising cookies. Before enabling advertising, we will update this policy and configure the required consent controls.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

Cookies & Consent

Analytics does not load until you select Allow analytics in Privacy settings at the bottom of a page. Decline analytics keeps it off. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can reopen Privacy settings and decline later to stop future collection. Previously set cookies can be removed through your browser settings. Embedded calculators do not load analytics. These analytics preferences are separate from any future advertising consent controls.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. The calculators themselves work fully without cookies.

Data Stored in Your Browser

Some tools save your preferences — such as custom material libraries or recent settings — using your browser’s local storage so they persist between visits. We also store your analytics preference there. Local storage stays on your device; sharing and exporting are separate actions you control. You can remove local data at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for reuven.tools.

Data Sharing & Retention

We do not sell, rent, or trade any information about you. Usage analytics are processed by Google on our behalf and retained according to the retention settings in our Google Analytics account. Correspondence you send is retained as needed to respond and handle corrections. We do not maintain user accounts or a server-side calculation history.

Children’s Privacy

This site provides professional engineering calculators and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Use Privacy settings to stop future analytics collection and your browser’s controls to delete locally stored data. Changes to This Policy

If we change how the site handles data — for example, by adding a new analytics or advertising service — we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here explicitly.
